mel·io·ra·tion

mel·io·ra·tion: the linguistic process by which a word over a period of time grows more elevated in meaning or more positive in connotation

Never be afraid of language. Laugh at censorships, fill in what they’re bleeping out, write in what’s being @$ter*$ked out and never be afraid of language. It is ours. We created it to express what we were experiencing around us. And when we limit what we can and can’t say, we are limiting our own worlds and how we share them. Say the most disgusting things, and enjoy the fact that you have tools to convey disgust. Or juxtapose them with bright and beautiful things, and see what effect it takes. Learn as many words as you can. Read new things. Write new things. And never be afraid of language.
